• And just like that, three weeks had passed since the incident back at home and Elena was now stable physically but no one knew she was struggling emotionally and otherwise.
• Each time she closed her eyes to sleep or rest, she kept having flashes of dreams where she was almost raped but she never really got the details. They always came in either tiny bits she couldn't understand or blurry visions she couldn't even picture no matter how many times she cleared her eyes.
