• I jumped out of the car once Elijah killed the engines and headed straight for my room. I had a long day at work and all I wanted to do was to take a long bath and sink into my bed, but, was left shocked as I didn't find Arne in the room. It was already evening and Arne was supposed to have been back.
• My heart skipped a beat as I tossed my purse on the bed and rushed out of the room. What was I thinking, leaving Arne with Ethan? I sharply sucked in a breath and held on it as I began searching the palace. I should never have forgotten, I should have kept his threat in mind and engraved in my heart before thinking of entrusting my son to his care.
