• "What are you doing? Haven't you packed up yet? Darren asked me to come pick you up and take you to Dolphine Bay!" His voice was all bluster, but his eyes glinted with that easy mischief that made him impossible to hate. He dropped his bag on the chair, the zipper half-open, spilling a glimpse of crumpled clothes and a half-eaten candy bar.
