Chapter 4 Danna, What A Pleasant Surprise

• One night, Gin came into Danna's room and told her to go to the alpha's room, as he was waiting for her. Danna was incredulous at the unusual invitation, but rushed over. Opening the door, she found Lamia lying on her partner's bed. She grumbled internally and asked herself: "What is this woman doing here?"
• "Danna, what a pleasant surprise."
• Danna felt the door close behind her and realized it was a trap. Without saying a word, she turned and headed for the door. She grabbed the handle and tried to open it, but it was locked.
• "Are you afraid of getting stuck with me, you stupid omega?" muttered Lamia, mischievously.
• "No, I just don't want to get into trouble with the alpha," Danna replied nervously.
• Lamia got up from the bed and approached Danna with an implacable look on her face.
• "Oh, don't worry, I'll make sure you have plenty of trouble with him. I'm tired of you getting in my way. Eros is mine, he only loves me and you're just an insignificant omega. Forget the idea of taking my place in the pack. I gave you a month's chance to leave, but I see you want to die."
• Danna felt a mixture of indignation and fear at Lamia's threats. She knew this she-wolf was dangerous and willing to do anything to get what she wanted. However, Danna also had pride and would not be easily intimidated.
• "Make no mistake, Lamia. I'm not trying to take anything away from you. Eros and I have a special connection, and he chose to stay with me. Don't you dare interfere in our relationship," Danna replied, trying to remain calm.
• Lamia looked at her and moved even closer, causing Danna to take a step back.
• "Don't act so brave, omega. You're nothing but a nuisance to me. But I can make your stay here a living hell. If you stay, you'll regret it every day of your life."
• At that moment, there were two knocks on the door. Lamia quickly messed up her hair, pulled out a knife and approached Danna.
• "What are you going to do with that knife?" said Danna with fear in her eyes.
• "Your death."
• Lamia quickly put the knife in her right hand, without letting go, raised it to her shoulder and stuck the knife in her side while screaming.
• "Danna, don't kill me. I'll talk to Eros so you can be his Moon and I'll leave this pack." With that, they opened the door and Lamia let go of Danna and fell to the ground with tears in her eyes: "I'll get out of your way, but please don't keep hurting me. I'm innocent, it's not my fault if Eros loves me like Luna".
• Eros was going inside when he heard Lamia. He ran out to help her when he saw her lying on the ground.
• "What happened here? What have you done, Omega? Where did you get that knife?" he shouted, glaring angrily at Danna.
• At that moment, Gin walked in and put her hand to her mouth, incredulous at what she was seeing. With fear in her eyes, she said.
• "Sir, I'm to blame. Danna took a knife from the kitchen. Only I saw her. I asked her what she needed the knife for and..."
• "Damn you, finish talking!" He growled in desperation as he pressed down on Lamia's wound, who was clinging to the alpha's arms in fear.
• "She told me that if I opened my mouth or accused her of taking a knife, she would kill me.
• "Eros, please don't retaliate against her," Lamia said with difficulty in her voice, "She thinks I'm taking away her mate, but I told her I was leaving the pack and freeing you. I don't understand why she did this to me.
• Danna was paralyzed by everything that had happened. She swallowed as she saw the murderous look on her companion's face. With a sigh in her voice, she could only defend herself.
• "What they say is a lie. I didn't do anything to her. It was Lamia who attacked me and tried to blame me. Please, Eros, you know I wouldn't do anything like that."
• "Shut up! You have no excuse. I heard how Lamia asked you not to hurt her." He turned his gaze to Gin: "Get the doctor to come and check Lamia and Santino, bring him here now."
• Gin ran off. Eros stood up with Lamia in his arms and laid her on his bed. At that moment, Santino arrived.
• "Sir! Did you send for me?"
• "Get that woman out of my sight and lock her in her room."
• Just then, the team doctor entered the room and examined Lamia. He administered painkillers because the woman was crying, then cleaned the wound and gave her five stitches. After finishing, he went to Eros to inform him of her state of health.
• "She's fine, I sedated her to calm her nerves. The wound wasn't deep, in a few days it will be completely healed."
• "Thank you, Benjamin," the doctor leaves and one of his men rushes in.
• "Sir, the council heard what happened, they are in the room and request your presence."
• Eros, feeling irritated and frustrated, let out a long sigh and left the room. He went downstairs and found a group of five elderly men.
• "Alfa, we're here because we heard about the tragedy that happened to poor Lamia. We warned you that that omega was going to get you into trouble and you didn't listen," said Fabricio.
• "Lamia is fine, it was only a superficial wound. As for the omega, I'll take care of his punishment. Besides, I've explained to them that Hercules gets out of control when I'm separated from his mate, so I'm going to keep her as a lover."
• "You can't let your wolf dominate you. We are a balance between man and animal. Man is knowledge and intelligence, and the animal is strength. As a wolf, it must obey your orders," said another elder.
• Hercules listened and growled internally.
• "You're right," replied Eros sternly, "I have to tame my wolf."
• "Exactly. As leader of the pack, you have a great responsibility. You must remember that your decisions affect all the members, human and wolf alike. Don't let your instincts rule you completely."
• "You must mark Lamia as soon as possible so that people feel safe for an Alpha Moon and don't spread rumors that you have a savage as a mate," said a third elder.
• "I want that omega to be whipped by her mate, in front of us, so that she learns to respect her superiors," said the oldest elder of them all.
• The alpha contacted two of his men and ordered them to bring a whip and Danna.
• Danna was crying on the bed with her head between her legs when she felt the door open. Fear overwhelmed her when she saw two burly men taking a few steps towards her.
• "Please don't hurt me," he begged in a trembling voice.
• Each of the men grabbed her by the shoulders and dragged her out of the room.
• "What do they want from me?" Danna tried to resist, but she was at a clear disadvantage against them.
• She was taken into the room and thrown at the feet of her alpha, another man handed the whip to Eros.
