• It was the first day of my job and as early as 5a.m in the morning, I was already up and dressed and ready. It had been so long since I have been this early to anything in my life and there was that longing feeling of nervousness that just ate there deep within me and I could not pin down why I seemed to be so much at no peace.
• Was it because I was defying my own self respect by going back to work for that ego maniac just because of money? Or was it the fact I was doing it behind his back and at the risk of the worst kind of humiliation yet if he were to find out? I couldn't tell which bothered me more. All I knew was that I needed money for Mum's medical bills and this was the only way that I could fend for it, so I was going for it.
