• "Baby please" Lucy pleaded with Stanley who turned his back at her, grumbling.
• Liam had been pleading with Stanley to let him adopt Elizabeth but Stanley had been refusing. Liam couldn't stop begging him as Asher kept lamenting to his ears.
• Stanley's reason for not letting them adopt Elizabeth was that she had never seen him as her father. Now that he knew he was her biological father, he wanted her to get to know him as such.
