- I got home quite late. Past 8:00 p.m. I hadn’t said I would, but I knew someone was waiting. I knew because I had been thinking about him all day. Even when Xavier dropped that betrayal bomb, even when Alex confirmed it. Even when my mind was supposed to be focused on hunting down my stupid half brother, I was still thinking about Remy.
