• Anika watched as Leon pushed away the woman after a beat. It was probably a good thing little Adelaide was getting sleepy, as she didn’t see the inappropriate action just now. When she raised her head, the two had already separated.
• “What the hell are you doing?” Leon asked in a pressed and quiet voice, but it held danger in them as he pushed the woman away.
• “Why? I haven’t seen you since forever!” The woman still played dumb and said coquettishly.
