Chapter 8 Wedding Without The Groom

  • After returning to the Millar family, Sienna plunged into the bed and laid down for a whole week before she completely recovered.
  • During these days lying on the bed, she did not know how many tears she shed. She organized the memories that belonged to her and Leon over and over again and sealed them.
  • She kept all the things Leon gave her and put them in a big box. She rented a small apartment and sealed all the memories into the small apartment.
  • Leon was no longer there, so her love died with him.
  • It didn't matter who she married anymore.
  • If she sacrificed her marriage, she could get her brother's medical fees.
  • It was worth it!
  • After Sienna was completely recovered, she took the initiative to find Mrs. Millar and expressed that she was willing to marry into the Reynolds family in Amelia's place.
  • Seeing Sienna take the initiative to express her willingness to marry into the Reynolds family, Brian and Mrs. Millar were very satisfied.
  • Because of her initiative, Mrs. Millar also relaxed her guard over Sienna and tacitly allowed her to visit Leon several times.
  • Three months later, Sienna once again carried a bouquet of lily flowers and sat in front of Leon's tomb. "Leon, this is the last time I came to see you before I'm getting married."
  • Sienna leaned against the tombstone. She looked at the picture on the tombstone and said to herself, "I'm not in love with anyone else. I am going to fulfill the engagement on Amelia's behalf. Because the Millar family wanted their daughter to marry a true Wealthy Class family, the engagement that originally belonged to Amelia fell on my head. Without you, there's no point in me marrying anyone. I don't care if the groom is rich or not. Whether he has the right of inheritance or not, whether he is adopted or not. That person isn't you, so everything is meaningless."
  • Sienna awkwardly wiped away the tears on her face. “After I get married, you must be fine in heaven. If you meet a girl who treats you well, you will..."
  • Sienna suddenly could not continue.
  • "Leon, if we meet again in our next lives, don't abandon me like this." Sienna wiped her tears away. "I'm leaving! I really left this time!"
  • After saying this, she wiped her tears and frantically ran away from the cemetery.
  • But her tears became more and more violent. In the end, Sienna decided to ruthlessly bury this relationship deeply.
  • The wedding day soon arrived.
  • The wedding was held in a small church in the suburbs.
  • Only a few unimportant members of the Reynolds family were present. Even the groom did not appear.
  • Brian saw that the Reynolds family did not care about the wedding. He immediately left from the venue, leaving Sienna alone in the resting room of the church.
  • When Sienna heard this news, she was neither sad nor happy. Wearing a white wedding dress, she slowly walked into the church and stood in front of the priest.
  • The few remaining onlookers were in an uproar when they saw Sienna's performance.
  • A man from the Reynolds family looked at Sienna with great interest and could not help but pinch his chin.
  • "Priest, please read the results directly." Sienna stood in front of the priest alone and said calmly. "I can finish the wedding alone."
  • Even the priest had never seen such a wedding scene before and he did not come back to his senses for a long time. Hearing Sienna's words, he turned to look at the representative of the Reynolds family.
  • The man nodded at the priest. The priest then followed the procedure and started the wedding ceremony, with the bride only.
