• My heart skipped as I heard the loud crash in the bathroom. My senses awakened immediately as my heart beat with fear. I quickly scanned the room, my eyes darting around looking for something to protect myself with.
• I tiptoed to where the table stand was and grabbed a lamp to defend myself in case of any attack. It wasn't as if I had the strength to fight off any possible attack, but it wouldn't be bad if I gave it a try— To scare the intruder, at least. Wait a minute. Could it be the stalker?
