• JOHN’S POV.
• Since Emily had left my house early that morning, my heart had been light. Emily was going to move in, and I was going to carry out my payback. It was petty of me, but Emily had gone too far. It was just too much.
• My pride had been stung. I was not one who was used to getting shouted on or insulted. Never had any girl, or anyone spoke to me with such disrespect. I was going to put her back where she belonged.
