• Once they arrived at the hospital, Tina dragged Courtney all the way into the wards. “Slow down, Tina. You’re about to break my arm.” Courtney helplessly allowed her daughter to drag her out of the hospital lift. She only believed her daughter’s words after she saw Jordan lying on the hospital bed.
• “What happened to Jordan?” Courtney asked as she entered the room. Scott was the only one who was sitting by the bed. When he saw Courtney, his face lit up with joy and he quickly got to his feet. “Who are you?” he asked, although he already knew the answer.
• She quickly introduced herself. “I’m Courtney Hunter, a hotel manager in Sunhill Hotel. My daughter attends the same kindergarten as Jordan. And you are?”
