• Ryan was shocked when he heard this. How did the conversation progress to this? "No...why would you think that?" He asked her. Anyway, he wasn't lying. He did not think of her as a burden. She is the one who will help him with his company.
• "I just think that....you don't want to get in trouble with my dad because of me right? If he says that I'm getting married then you have to give up right?" Scarlett asked him.
• Ryan "...."
• When did Scarlett become this smart? She even knows what he is thinking right now!
• "No...that's not it Scarlett. I just don't want you to be put in a difficult situation with your father because of me" Ryan said. Anyway he had been lying to Scarlett for years now. He could definitely think of an excuse right now.
• Scarlett sighed. It seemed that she was thinking too much?
• "Anyway, I'm not going to get married! I don't want to marry someone that I barely even know!" Scarlett said.
• Ryan sighed. There isn't much that you can do right? "But...you can't go against your father right?" He asked her.
• "Yes...but he can't do anything if the other party doesn't want to get married right?" Scarlett asked with a strange glint in her eyes.
• Ryan looked at her. He could tell now that she was up to something. What is Scarlett going to do?
• "What are you going to do?" Ryan asked her. He just hoped that she won't be getting herself into some kind of trouble.
• "You don't have to worry. I won't be forced into getting married against my wish. I already sent someone to spread rumours that there are problems with my mental health. That's why I've been staying away from the public! There's no way anyone would want to marry someone who's crazy right?" Scarlett asked. She was obviously feeling very proud of herself right now.
• Subconsciously, Ryan found himself smiling. He did not think that Scarlett was smart. In fact, he felt that she was actually very dumb. But she could come up with a plan like this. He definitely would not want to marry someone who is crazy. It seemed that he still had use for Scarlett in the future.

• From a corner, Sonia was watching Ryan talk with Scarlett. She could not hear what they were talking about but she could see thier faces and expressions. First Ryan was surprised and then he was angry, then he calmed down, now he was smiling. What are the both of them talking about? She and Ryan had actually progressed to this level and she did not want him to change his feelings for her.
• Actually when she started with Ryan, she did not have any real feelings for him. She just thought that it would be great to finally take something away from Scarlett. But after being with him for so long, she actually started to like him. She did not want him to go back to Scarlett again. After all, even though he always told her that she is the one that he loves, those were the words that he said to her when they were in bed. She wasn't stupid enough to believe everything that he said to her when they were in bed. She won't believe it at all. She had already noticed that he seemed to treat her really shabbily.
• Was it because of Scarlett's father? Just thinking about those things made her burn with hatred for Scarlett even more. She wanted her gone! But she could not do that. Since she can't make her disappear, she can at least make her lose her reputation right?
• She glanced over at the waiter that she had bought off. Tommorow morning, there definitely would be a lot of news about Scarlett!
• She brought out her phone and called someone. "Are you here?" She asked.
• "Yes.." came the gruff reply.
• "Alright then. It will be settled in a few minutes" Sonia said.
• There was a lot of malice flashing through her eyes. Scarlett! Scarlett!! Scarlett!!! She had always hated her from the beginning. She would let her find out what it means to be supressed tommorow. No matter what, after tonight, Ryan won't be able to treat her so well anymore!

• "But...is this going to work? Will your father let people spread rumours about you being crazy?" Ryan asked Scarlett. He still wasn't fully convinced by this plan.
• "Don't worry. It's all settled. I have a friend. She can spread the rumours without making it into a big deal. People will talk about it but there will be no way of confirming it. Anyway since not many people know me, they'll believe it easily" Scarlett said. People tended to believe the worst of other people anyway. And she was going to use that.
• Ryan really did not know what else he was supposed to sat to her. He could only let her continue to do what she wanted. Anyway if it didn't work he didn't have anything to lose and if it worked then it was going to benefit him.
• A waiter came to them to take thier orders. Because they were already done talking, Scarlett and Ryan ordered some drinks. Then the waiter left to get them.
• As she walked away, she raised her eyes to look at Sonia and then Sonia nodded at her.
• The waiter served the drinks and then walked away. Scarlett took a sip of her drink from time to time and soon she was done with it.
• After some seconds, she got up. "I need to use the restroom" Scarlett said.
• Ryan nodded and she walked away.

• Scarlett walked into the restroom. After she was done, she stood by the sink watching her hands. She felt her head hurting. What happened to her? She was fine a few seconds ago.
• Scarlett did not think much of it. She would just go home to rest now. She picked up her steps and tried to walk out but then she staggered and almost fell down. She held the sink to stable herself.
• What is wrong with her? Why is she suddenly feeling week all over?
• Scarlett was alarmed. She had to get home now! She walked out of the restroom and was making her way back when two men walked up to her. Scarlett didn't pay attention to them at first because she felt that this was a public place and they had nothing to do with her but they stood in front of her and didn't let her go.
• Scarlett was forced to look up at the two men then. They had stern look on thier faces. No matter what, Scarlett finally realized that she was in trouble now.
• Scarlett forced herself to look them in the eye. She knew that she could not be weak right now. What did these people want from her?
• "Who are you? Do you know who I am?!" She asked.
• "Of course we know who you are. The pampered princess it T city. Is there anyone who doesn't know you? It's our honour that we have to meet like this here today" the man said. He was obviously gloating.
• So they did know her. What do they want from her? Did they want to kidnap her for money?
• "What do you want from me? I'm telling you don't mess with me" Scarlett said. She intentionally tried to make herself seem tough. So they knew not to mess around with her. Anyway, she knew that she could not show any sign of weakness right now.
• "What do you think you want from you?" Another man asked. His eyes were roving around her body.
• No matter how much she tried to stay tough, Scarlett was already shaking inside. What is she going to do? Is she going to be violated like this?
• "You have such nice skin. Just looking at you already turns me on!"
• "Yes yes, who knew that the princess of T City would be so pretty? I won't have any regrets if I have to die on such beauty!"
• Thier words were getting more and more offensive.
• Scarlett finally hit a realization. She seemed to have been drugged. She remembered the waiter that served the drinks. She seemed to be darting eyes around. Who would want to harm her like this? Scarlett knew that tht waiter was probably used by someone else. But why would someone want to harm her? She knew that she had not done anything wrong to anyone. She never even went out...who could hate her so much that they would go as far as to drug her?
• As Scarlett listened to them, her body was already starting to feel hot. She held the collar of her shirt, her breathing was irregular now.
• "Looks like the drug is starting to take effect. Hold her!" One of the men said.
• Scarlett was convinced now. She was drugged! How is she going to get out of this?! She instantly thought of Ryan! He is the only one who can help her now! After all, he is her boyfriend. She would rather be with him than let herself be raped by these people.
