Chapter 27 Come Here

• Primrose pouted, shoving Joel's hand as he touched her hair, wanting to help her change. Joel sighed and waited a few more seconds before moving on, quickly helping Primrose change into a more comfortable silk nightgown.
• "Water. I want to drink water."
• Primrose spoke softly, her voice somewhat dry. Joel carefully took Primrose's head again to lay her on the soft pillow, hurrying to pour her a glass of warm water. When he was done, he went back to bed, expertly supporting Primrose's back to help her drink water, at which point Primrose snorted in satisfaction.
