Chapter 4 Chapter Four
- Kael could not sleep. He held his phone close to his chest like it was going to disappear and he could not stop staring.
- The money he was seeing was more than enough to change his life. The thought of paying his loans and bills was everything Kael could think about.
- He was going to quit his double shift at work and maybe even buy his boss bakery factory to make him learn a lesson never to look down on anyone.
- His eyes slowly shut as he fell into a long and deep sleep.

- [ THE NEXT DAY ]
- The gentle chirpy of the birds woke Kael up. His eyes fluttered open gently as the ray of the sun penetrated through his curtains.
- At first, Kael rolled endlessly on the make shift bed he slept on before his eyes snapped.
- " Oh Molly!" Kael shouted as he rushed into the bathroom to have his bath. They were just starting he mid term test today and he was a hour late.
- " Oh my god!" Kael said as he dashed out of the bathroom with soap bubbles all over his body but he didn't seem to care.
- As he dressed up to get ready for school his mind went back to how he was going to get to school in time.
- He has missed the morning train which was supposed to pick him up. Kael grabbed the rumpled dollar note in front of him and dipped it into his pocket.
- He was about to shut the door and had out when he stopped abruptly. His memory's of yesterday began to return back one at a time.
- At first, they were flashes, like they were taken from of him. Like they were real and were not real.
- Flashed of a holographic message displaying right in front of him. Then there is the casino the system had led him too and...
- Kael was lost in thought trying to piece everything together that he lost track of time. As he walked, he fumbled with some word and finally stoped.
- The money!
- Kael remembered he had seen the six zero digits at the back of a big figure. This was going to be a life changer for him. He was finally going to put Jason in his place and have everyone who has ever looked down on him fall at his knee begging.
- Kael Immediately dipped his hands into his bagpack and brought out his phone which was taped with a lot of dug tapes. His phone went whitish and he needed to have it rebooted.
- Kael's heart beat faster in anticipation. Waiting for the one message that could mean a lot to his life.
- A message that could liberate him from poverty and give him a seat within the elite in the school.
- It was going to be no one more suffering, no more taking the heating and finally talking back and standing up for himself.
- Immediately the loading was done.
- Kael's went through every envelope that was dangling before his eyes but none had what he was looking for.
- Feeling depressed he decided to trek down to school saving the little cash he had left.
- As he walked, Kael replayed everything like they happened right before his eyes. He remembered their laughter and grinned as their boots cracked every bone, every rib in his body.
- Kael remembered how the soothing cold rain entered into his body and how the library books he had borrowed to read in preparation for the test were all soaked and torn.
- The librarian was going to ask for them and the thought of having to paying five hundred dollars was a large amount of money for even. Even his working at the factory couldn't cover it.
- Kael got to the front of the school and sigh. Another day to be mocked. Another day of ridicules.
- Kael wanted to turn back but then he heard the only one voice that always smile at his sorrows and pain.
- It was Jason.
- " Don't tell me you are just going to walk away, loser." he said grinning widely. Kael couldn't believe his eyes.
- This was pure wickedness and hatred for him.
- Has he been waiting at the gate just to humilatehim?
- Or it was a mistake?
- " I heard you missed the test." Jason said walking forward with his friends. " I am going to help you write the test on one condition."
- Kael raised his eyebrows slowly, his gaze meeting with that of Jason. " And what do I have to do?"
- Jason looked around making sure all of the students were gathering already. " You are going to crawl on all fours and you are going to bark like a dog."
- " What?" Kael said with an etchy breathe. " You don't really mean that do you?"
- Jason folded his hands. " You don't know what mess you are in right now, You shouldn't have missed the first test because that is the only one we are having towards exam. My father made sure of it. So, you need to score one hundred percent if you want I be considered for the next class." Jason giggled.
- " Even Mark Hamiton who is the genius in the school could not do it. So, you are going to fall to your feet and bark like a dog if you actually want my me to put in a good word for you in front of my father."
- Kael looked around. He knew what Jason was trying to do but he was like a cornered rat. Tears tugged at the end of his eyes as he looked around to see some of the students who were laughing at his problem.
- " Is he going to do it?"
- " I would if I want to pass."
- " He should just quit already."
- " He is no match for Jason."
- " I bet he is going to do it. One hundred buck says, Kael will fall on his knee sand crawl."
- The atmosphere was charged with tension with many of them having their phones out.
- Kael fell to the cold floor and as he was about to bark. He heard a familiar sound. A sound that made his heart flutters yet again.
- [ DING! ]
