• If there was one thing I had learned from my brothers, it was that even if they were a thousand years old, they would still fight over everything. Likewise, there were a thousand changes in my life… for example, my parents were talking more than ever, my brothers were going mad in my care, and Nath wasn't even leaving the house. It's starting to look a lot like Christmas, echoing through the house, adding to the Christmas spirit.
• There was no news of Jessica, she seemed to have been swallowed up by the earth, and that frightened me, but I wasn't alone in my house, although my sisters did go out from time to time to see Paris. Tonight, we were going to cook dinner and sing Christmas carols and watch films, anything that didn't involve leaving the house, but tonight it was going to snow, and it was going to be cold.
