Chapter 35 Get Off Me

Colby spent the next six months religiously caring for Tanya. When she did not wake up after four weeks, the doctor advised him to let a nurse care for her as it could become frustrating and tiring for him especially if she never woke up from her vegetative state.
Colby, however, refused because he wanted to atone for all that he did to Tanya. He came to the hospital every morning, cleaned Tanya up, and made sure she got a change of clothes, every day.
He spent the earlier part of his morning, talking to her about his plans for the day and hoping that she would respond to him someday.
