Chapter 264 Kourtney's Secret

• Kourtney looked around at the gathering crowd and noticed that Grandpa Woods and several of the older Woods family members had already taken their seats in the grand viewing pavilion. It had cushioned chairs arranged in neat rows, a small refreshment table to the side, and a clear, unobstructed view of the entire track. Someone had even placed drinks and other refreshments on the table so soon.
• Grandpa Woods sat front and center, of course. His old frame relaxed into the chair like a king settling onto a throne. He had a glass of something warm in his hand and his blue eyes — so much like Sebastian’s was glowing with excitement.
• The older aunts and uncles who sat with him were already chatting amongst themselves, some watching the younger generation with that particular expression older people wore, equal parts amusement and nostalgia, like they were watching a version of themselves they had long since packed away.
