• Inside the car, Ashlyn, with her drink in hand, made herself comfortable. Lucas, taking a seat next to her, spoke up with an air of urgency. “Take this bottle of water back to be tested. And what about that plate of fish? Spencer, did you manage to get a sample of that as well?”
• From the driver's seat, Spencer responded, his voice tinged with a hint of frustration, “Yes, I did. Unfortunately, though, our team couldn't apprehend him. He was too cunning and slipped right through our fingers.”
