Perhaps he wishes to stay with you but also doesn't want to be around a lot of people. That's probably why he's waiting for you outside your house. He's trying to be thoughtful," Joseph suggested.
• "Pfft, thoughtful?!" Shawn was trying to make me feel bad! Joseph no longer tried to speak up for Shawn after he saw how annoyed I was. I walked into the house, and my mother gave me a troubled look when she saw me alone. "Where's Shawn? He has never visited his kids once!"
