• STEFAN’S POV
• For a few seconds, she’s all I see. it’s almost as if there is no one else in the room with us and she looks perfect. She looks ethereal and all I want to do in this moment is to run to her.
• For a few seconds, we make eye contact with each other and my heart leaps with joy but more in pain. Pain because she looks like she has just seen a ghost. I didn’t know how I would ever face her but now that I am standing in front of her, I wish I could just crawl inside a hole and stay there forever because the look in her eyes is haunting.
