• “I have a date tonight with Miguel at 7, so I will see you later. Don't hesitate to call me if anything comes up.” After a couple of dates with the doctor, she ditched him for no reason in particular. Few weeks ago, she met Miguel at the courthouse after successfully putting that rapist and murderer behind bars. And for now, things seemed to be going well with Miguel.
• I escorted her out and hugged her goodbye, and rather than returning back to my room, I entered into the nursery we had all taken our time to decorate in Green and Pink. I was tired of the clichés of blue and red, my kids were special blessings, so they deserved different.
