• Armand stared at the candied fruit through the glass display. “I'll take a candied strawberry,” he said in his deep voice.
• “Oh, okay.” The vendor hurriedly took a candied strawberry as he had requested and packaged it before handing it over. “If your wife can't eat it, maybe you can just let her have a bite to see how it tastes.”
• “Sure. Thank you,” Armand replied while throwing a hundred in cash on the counter. He then took the candied fruit and turned to leave.
