• Emilie awoke at 3 am, not to a crying baby but to her phone ringing on the bedside table. Emilie sighed. She let Alicia go and picked up the phone. It was the number for her buddy at the police department.
• “Hello.” Emilie groaned. She was tired of watching four babies and one brat that was developing an attitude that made Emilie boil with anger.
• “Hello, Emilie. I am calling, a call just came through that one of your stores downtown was broken into and vandalized we want to know if you can come down to the store right now?” Emilie was shocked this was the first time her store was broken into.
