Chapter 3 Daddy
- Finn sat alone in the quiet, dim bedroom. The heavy footsteps of Martinez and his son had long since faded down the hall, leaving behind a thick, suffocating silence.
- Of course, his best friend, the typical Daddy's boy, had obeyed his father’s stern command without a single word of protest or a backward glance.
- Brian always fell back in line when his father raised his voice.
- The harsh chirp of Finn's phone shattered the stillness. He reached over to the nightstand and picked it up; his mum’s caller ID flashed brightly across the screen.
- A cold sensation settled in his gut as he swiped to answer, pressing the speaker button. Her voice boomed into the quiet room.
- "Finn," she said sweetly.
- "What is it?" he asked, his tone flat and uninviting.
- "Hey, don't be rude... I am calling to just check on you," she said.
- A wave of bitter nausea surged up in Finn's chest, and he clenched his teeth to force it down.
- After everything she had done to him, after throwing him to the wolves for a handful of cash, she still had the audacity to play the sweet, attentive mother checking in on her beloved son.
- "So about the don," she said, her voice dropping into a casual, manipulative lilt. "You have to go back, you know? Tell me, where are you now?"
- "Don't call me ever again, mum," Finn spat into the phone, the rage inside him boiling over. "If you want money so bad, go be that old man's wife yourself. I am not your property to be sold!" he yelled loudly as he cut the call, severing the connection before she could utter another word.
- The bitter memories came flooding back immediately, threatening to drown him where he sat.
- He had lied to Brian, lied to everyone. A year ago, his mother had taken him away under the polished guise of a prestigious one-year study program abroad in England.
- He had been so naive then, thrilled at the prospect of heading off to college, excited for a fresh start, only to be handed over like cargo to a ruthless, powerful old mob boss.
- Hot, silent tears spilled over Finn's lashes before he could stop them, trailing damp tracks down his flushed cheeks.
- He stared across the dim room at his reflection in the tall mirror, watching himself unspool, watching the raw vulnerability leak through his carefully constructed mask.
- No. Absolutely not.
- With a sudden, sharp motion, Finn raised his hand and slapped himself hard across the face.
- The stinging blow cracked through the quiet room like a whip, leaving a dark crimson handprint blooming across his pale cheek.
- "You're fine," he whispered harshly to his reflection, his jaw setting into a rigid line as he forcibly shoved the weakness down into the dark. "You can't be weak."
- Anger swept away the lingering sorrow, a violent surge of adrenaline twisting inside him and morphing his grief into something raw, desperate, and dangerous.
- Seduction had become his ultimate weapon, a reckless coping mechanism born from an absolute need to reclaim control over his own life after being treated like merchandise.
- If he was going to be desired, it would be on his own terms.
- Finn grabbed his phone off the bed and snapped on the bedside lamp, washing the room in warm gold. Stripping off the last barrier of cloth, he angled the camera and took a stark, shameless picture of his completely naked body, capturing his face, his flushed skin, all the way down to his bare hips and ass.
- Without hesitating, he sent it straight to Mr. Martinez's personal line.
- Wait for the right person, my ass, Finn thought. It was official: Finn was going to push this billionaire to his absolute breaking point.
- A bitter, wicked smile touched his lips as he caught his reflection once more in the glass, the burning red mark on his cheek contrasting sharply against the lingering moisture under his dark eyes.
- Ping. Ping.
- The phone vibrated against his palm, making his stomach tighten into a hard, electric knot.
- He looked down at the illuminated screen. "What nonsense is this?" Martinez's reply was already waiting, short, blunt, and furious.
- Finn's smile widened into a sharp smirk. "Oh, sorry sir," he typed back, his fingers moving rapidly over the keyboard. "I was going to send this to Brian. You know what? I should just sleep over in Brian's room. I promise there would be no moaning from me."
- He hit send. The double checks turned blue immediately; Martinez had read it.
- Satisfied with the chaos he had unleashed, Finn tossed the phone onto the nightstand, intending to curl up under the soft duvet. But the second his bare back hit the mattress, the polished door handle turned with a soft metallic click, and the heavy door swung open.
- Finn turned his head in shock, finding Mr. Martinez framed in the doorway. The older man stepped inside and shut the door behind him, the latch locking into place with a quiet, decisive thud.
- The atmosphere in the room shifted instantly, heavy with a thick, suffocating tension that made the air feel thin.
- "Didn't I tell you to wait for the right time?" Martinez asked, his voice low, thick, and dangerous, rumbling through the quiet room like distant thunder.
- Finn stared up at him, taking in the sight. Martinez was stripped of his formal suit jacket and tie, his broad, sculpted chest bare, a light dusting of silver-black hair tracing down his sternum.
- He wore nothing but dark grey joggers that hung low on his solid hips, revealing the sharp V-line leading down toward his crotch.
- The disciplined, stoic facade the business tycoon presented to the world was completely shattered, replaced by something dark, raw, and fiercely possessive.
- Finn had planned to keep playing his mind games, but the dangerous man had walked straight into the trap himself.
- Shifting his weight on the mattress, Finn raised his hips and slowly pulled off his remaining shorts, tossing the fabric carelessly to the floors.
- Martinez froze in his tracks, his dark, turbulent eyes locking onto Finn's completely bare lower body.
- His breath hitched sharply in his chest, his hands clenching into tight fists at his sides as his knuckles turned white.
- You know what? If I can't have the son, I should have the father at least.
- Finn spread his legs open against the white sheets, letting the heavy, agonizing silence burn between them.
- "Come fuck me, daddy?"
