Chapter 53 Arya's Breakdown

• As the village head left the room, the door thudded shut behind him. His steps were heavy with shame, frustration, and helplessness. Inside the room, Arya sat on the floor, knees pulled to her chest, face pale and smeared with dried tears.
• Her mother knelt beside her, voice soft but trembling, “Arya... my child…”
