Chapter 7 Sex On A Beach

  • After the declaration, Cael immediately took hold of Mikayla's chin and pulled her to him.
  • Without thinking, Mikayla closed her eyes and tilted her head.
  • There was no more hesitation from him. He slammed his lips onto hers.
  • There was nothing gentle about the kiss, just as she'd expected. It was hard, it was demanding and it was unyielding.
  • His lips forced her lips apart and thrust inside, quickly ravishing her mouth.
  • Mikayla moaned against his lips. She met his demands with a frenzy of her own, frantically pushing against him like a wanton whore, battling his tongue for dear life.
  • There were no thoughts, only desire. A plain, white-hot desire that spread through her body, from head to toe.
  • She pressed herself against him, as though wanting to be swallowed up by him.
  • Mikayla found herself moving, inching closer and closer to his lap.
  • She'd just perched her butt on one of his legs when his hands wrapped around her, stopping her.
  • He pulled back, his lips coming off of hers with a pop. She blinked, confused at the sudden change.
  • She was breathing hard, but so was he.
  • She could not only hear him breathing but could feel the hot air of his breath on her face which was only an inch away from his at this point.
  • "We shouldn't do this here," he said suddenly.
  • Mikayla looked around in confusion, trying to remember where "here" was and why they couldn't do this here.
  • It came back to her slowly. They were at the garden seat-out, a little ways from the fundraising event.
  • But her brain still wasn't working so well. She was still locked in the throes of passion.
  • She reached for him again, trying to pull his head back towards her.
  • Cael laughed. "Slow down, babe. Let's find a better place, okay?"
  • She nodded impatiently. He got up and took her hand. She let him lead her back in the direction they'd come from.
  • They passed by the hall again. There were a few people out but they were too busy with their own business to pay them much mind.
  • Still, Mikayla ducked her head and increased her pace.
  • 'This is your opportunity to turn back, Mikayla. If you go with this man, there's no going back. You will end up sleeping with him.'
  • It was like God was constantly throwing her opportunities to turn back.
  • But even now, she knew without a doubt that she couldn't turn back. There was no going back.
  • She had to have him. She had to. She would go crazy if she didn't.
  • 'But what would happen after?' The crazy side of her answered, 'Later will take care of itself.'
  • People often made jokes about men letting their penises think for them. Here she was doing exactly that.
  • Well, she was doing exactly that. Her libido was doing the thinking
  • "Where are we going?" She asked.
  • "We're taking a drive." He pointed to his car, a black Ferrari.
  • "Nice car," she said conversationally.
  • He smiled and came around to open her door.
  • Mikayla smiled. "I didn't peg you as an "opening the car door" kind of guy."
  • "Why not?" He asked.
  • "I don't know. You just don't seem like it."
  • "Babe, prepare to be amazed. I've got moves you've never seen," he drawled, winking at her.
  • She rolled her eyes.
  • "Also, just so you know, I have two very strong women around me who would kill me if I didn't open the car door for them."
  • "I can't imagine anyone ever threatening you," she muttered under her breath.
  • What kind of woman would be crazy enough to threaten a force of nature like Cael?
  • He smiled. "One of them is my mother."
  • "I see," she said.
  • Before long, they were pulling up to their destination.
  • Mikayla peered out the car window, a frown on her face. "The beach? You brought us to the beach?" She gave him a confused look.
  • "This is one of my favourite places. I like to sit here by the water and just enjoy the calm."
  • He stopped the car and hit a button that had the top of the Ferrari rolling back until they were sitting right under the night sky.
  • "I usually come alone," he confided.
  • Mikayla understood his message. He'd brought her to his place, his sacred corner of the world. And he wanted her to know it.
  • She looked out over the water, taking in the serenity of the place. "It's beautiful," she concluded, "but I didn't come here to talk."
  • She immediately unbuckled her seatbelt and crawled over the gear to his side.
  • She climbed on top of him, swinging her leg over his so that she was facing him.
  • Her dress rode up around her calf. She grabbed his face in her hands, pulled his face towards her and began kissing him.
  • Like before, there was no hesitation on his part. He immediately took over the kiss.
  • He pried her hands off his face without missing a beat and wrapped it around his neck, effectively taking control.
  • Mikayla hummed in response. Who would have known that she was the kind of woman who liked men who took control?
  • No, she wasn't that kind of woman. She reminded herself. It was just different with him. She couldn't hate it with him.
  • He attacked her with an animal-like ferocity that she'd known he would from the moment she felt his eyes on her.
  • He was methodical and brutal, picking her apart one piece at a time. It was nothing like she'd ever experienced.
  • He was in charge of their entire lovemaking, if you could call sex without love that.
  • He had her quivering and moaning into the night, the sounds echoing in the ocean air.
  • They continued late into the night, round after round until she was completely spent. She lay on her back, breathing heavily.
  • Somewhere along the line, they'd ended up in the backseat.
  • He pulled her against his chest and cradled her to him with a tenderness that denied the ferocity with which he just made love to her.
  • There she went again using the word love. Making love, love making...none of those defined what had happened here.
  • What they did here was primal. They gave in to the base animal instincts in them and that was it.
  • She must have fallen asleep on that thought because the next thing she knew, she was waking up.
  • She woke slowly, becoming aware of her surroundings one thing at a time. First, she felt the brush of the gentle morning sun on her face.
  • It surprised her at first but then she remembered that she was sleeping outside.
  • They'd left the car top down, too spent to be bothered to do as much as push the one button that would put it back up.
  • Images from the night before at the fundraiser flashed across her mind.
  • There'd been a man. He'd been staring at her, so she followed him out to a little garden and they talked and...kissed?
  • Then came flashes from their tryst in the car. Mikayla gasped and shot up into a sitting position.
  • She turned her head slowly and sure enough the same man in her head was asleep next to her, and he was NAKED.
  • And so was she! 'Holy shit!' He must have thrown his shirt over her at some point but it had fallen away the moment she moved.
  • She looked around the beach frantically. Thankfully, it was still early enough in the morning that there was no one around.
  • 'Oh no! Oh no! What did I do? What do I do?'
  • She must have been more drunk than she thought if she'd slept with a man she'd just met.
  • On a beach. In his car. Like a cheap whore. Hell, all she knew about him was his name.
  • She leaned over to the front of the car, careful not to rouse him and grabbed her purse.
  • She dug out her phone and quickly Googled his name.
  • The search brought him out immediately. A quick scan through revealed that he was Cael Lautner, CEO of Solid Build.
  • It was a construction company that had run through his family for over ten generations. They were worth billions.
  • Not only was he wealthy, he'd been born into it, a true golden spoon boy. How could she have done this?
  • She'd fallen into the same trap that she'd always sworn to avoid. She'd gone against everything she stood for. For what? One night of sex.
  • Tears welled up in Mikayla's eyes. What if someone had seen her? They would say that the apple didn't fall so far from the tree after all.
  • All that she'd worked to accomplish for herself would disappear in a flash.
  • She turned to look at him, examining his face under the morning light. He looked so handsome.
  • Maybe at another time... in another life...
  • She wiped a tear that had escaped down her cheek, unnoticed.
  • You know what you have to do now, she reminded herself. Do it!
  • "Do it," she whispered emphatically to herself.
