Chapter 11 Trouble

• Mavana jolted awake, her eyes widening with fear and her breath coming in short bursts. Her heart was racing and she was drenched in sweats that were running down her peeled skin.
• She sat up and rubbed her eyes, attempting to clear her mind of the haunting images she was experiencing. It was difficult. Her mouth opened in a short gasp as her peeled skin hit the wall.
• She looked at her skin, surprised; her wounds had been treated and were now covered in gauze and plaster.
