• We all treaded the park house very carefully, hoping to get proof that Cain wasn't really here for proof, and Callen, one of the pack members' birthdays, was the perfect time.
• The night was cool but alive with the crackle of firelight and laughter. Callen’s birthday celebration was in full swing; the whole pack gathered around a large bonfire in the clearing behind the Slade estate. Callen, the new beta, had a big personality that filled every corner of the room.
