Chapter 7

  • Janet was still crying profusely when Aurora opened her eyes.she noticed that Aurora's body was now warm,she looked at her and saw that her eyes were open.she was so happy that her friend was alive but something was off about Aurora,her eyes had changed to golden color.
  • It was not the same color of eyes of other werewolves.
  • The eyes of other werewolves were yellow in color during transformation but Aurora's eyes were golden in colour.that only means one thing but she didn't want to jump into conclusions until Aurora transformed.
  • She stepped behind, waiting for her to transform.
  • Aurora looked up to the moon,the light of the moon reflecting in her golden eyes,the moon changed to golden colour.she floated on the air and she transformed into a silver wolf with golden stripes on her body landing majestically on the ground.her wolf was so big, magnificent and beautiful.
  • Janet was shocked,her mouth wide agape as she stared at Aurora's wolf.She didn't know she would be a witness to this majestic transformation."the prophecy"she muttered.
  • "Owoo"Aurora's wolf howled and Janet's knees fell to the ground as a sign of submission.
  • Everybody in the community of werewolves were surprised that the moon has changed to golden colour.it only means one thing."the prophecy"
  • They have been waiting for this day for so long,it was a tradition to check for the sign of the prophecy in the transformation of the teenage girls in every generation."it's time for the prophecy to be fulfilled"the elders said amongst themselves.
  • When they heard the howl of the wolf, everyone in the community including Alphas fell down on their knees as a sign of submission.this was the first time this was happening in history.but the question here was "who is the one in the prophecy?Who is she? and where is she?"
  • WHAT CAME ABOUT THE PROPHECY.
  • MANY CENTURIES AGO.
  • There was a great war in the land of the werewolves, vampires and witches.The witches , vampires and wolves had to join hands together to fight off the evil beasts that were resurrected by Lucifer,demons and the creatures of the underworld.
  • The creatures of the underworld were having an upper hand in the war because of the resurrection of the beasts.
  • The werewolves ran to the moon goddess for help and the moon goddess gave them a solution.there was only one person,a girl who can help them in the war.her name was"Lilac"a hybrid,half werewolf,half witch.she was a rogue who didn't have a pack.the witches rejected her and the werewolves rejected her too.she had been suffering for so long because of her different being.
  • They asked Lilac for help and she accepted but on one condition.she stated that they would accept her in their pack and she will be recognized, even if she died,they will celebrate her once in a year, remembering what she did for them.they agreed and she decided to help them.the only thing Lilac wanted was love and acceptance.
  • During the war,they said that her blood was needed for them to win the fight.She gave up her life in order for them to win the war and they won the war.but something happened.The generation that witnessed the war kept their promise and held a celebration every year in memory of her.This went on for some time, from generation to generation until they totally forgot about her,they stopped holding a celebration for her,they didn't see the reason why they would acknowledge a woman.
  • The moon goddess was angry with the werewolves.a disease came upon them and they started dying.they couldn't take it anymore,they ran to the moon goddess for help and the moon goddess said that they would sacrifice ten alphas if they wanted a solution.
  • It was hard for the werewolves but they did what she wanted and the moon goddess told them what they did wrong.They asked for forgiveness and they asked the moon goddess about what they should do.
  • THE MOON GODDESS PROPHECY.
  • "You did not obey the wishes of Lilac, because of your disobedience,you will be chased out of your land by your enemies,another war will happen because the beasts shall resurrect again and a woman will be the only person that will help you to survive this war,she won't sacrifice herself again,she would help you people according to her own wish.you all will try hard to gain her trust,make sure you love her,if not,the werewolves realm will be wiped out,You will wait for generation to generation, waiting for Lilac to come again"
  • "A day shall come when the moon will reflect in the eyes of your savior,the moon will change its color to golden and Lilac will resurrect in the body of your savior, everyone will bow down in submission to the howl of the werewolf because she is powerful.you have to treat her well because she possesses the power that can destroy or save mankind".

  • That was how the prophecy came about,the community werewolves were residing in now was not their real land because they were chased out of their land many years ago by the vampires.
  • The prophecy was a story all fathers told to their children,it was a story passed down from generation to generation.They have been waiting for this day when Lilac in the prophecy will resurrect again in the body of a werewolf.
  • Every young male teenager wished that the girl in the prophecy would turn out to be their new found mate because it was said that the person in the prophecy will make its mate a powerful Alpha.
  • The mate of the girl in the prophecy will become the most feared and powerful Alpha.they will join hands together and bring back the land of the werewolves which was taken from them.they will be remembered from generation to generation.
