She was the moon goddess and she actually knew how magnificent a palace looked like but right now, she was thrilled to finally see it in person. Dominic might not know her identity and his mother might not either, but she hoped Queen Bathsheba would accept her.
• They got out of the car and she looked around. It was night but she saw everything clearly. The exterior of the palace was breathtaking, with tall spires and grand architecture that seemed to shimmer in the moonlight. Selene felt a sense of awe wash over her as Dominic led her towards the entrance.
