• It was around eleven at night when I came out of the pack house, after putting Julian to sleep, and found Cameron doing laps in the pool.
• I hadn’t seen him all day after he broke the news of my dad to me and since then, I had been consoling Julian. More like he was consoling me. Because Julian never really formed a bond with my father the way I did and part of me was glad about it. But a part of me was also upset that he never got to know who our father really was, before his addictions took a hold of him.
