Chapter 38

• Third Person POV:
• “I’ll take her with me to the other room” Veni mumbled reaching out to take Aadhya in her arms. Arjun hesitated a little but obliged, nonetheless. Arjun carried her luggage to the room right next to his and left her to her intrusive thoughts alone.
• Veni busied herself by arranging everything she and her daughter might need for the night and drifted between the sheets while staring into nothingness. After what seemed like hours she drifted into a fitful slumber.
