Chapter 57

• ESTEFAN'S POV
• The day has been so busy as Esteban and I had to go represent Dad in a meeting with all the state officials. Attending meetings like that was something I wouldn't do on a normal dad but Esteban begged to go with him because he didn't want to be alone with those old men.
• Sometimes, I wondered how he was going to cope when he becomes the King when he couldn't even attend a single meeting without me. He was also too carefree, soft-hearted, and trusted people easily. I knew those power-hungry officials would try to use his gentleness against me and push him around, but I made a promise to myself to protect him and his throne.
