Chapter 27

• JADE
• I opened my eyes slowly to light rays hitting them harshly, which made them hurt a little. The light came from a bulb in the ceiling which seemed to be the brightest in the room. The rest of the bulbs didn't do much justice to the room, making everywhere dim.
• I lay on my side, with my hands tied behind me and struggled to sit up when I observed the room to see another figure, a female too, almost in the same position as myself. I squinted, trying to make out the shape of who it was when she turned and I saw it was Suzy.
