• While a woman was speaking in front of the shareholders, Bree's mind was elsewhere. It drifted back to the night she got drunk at Spartan. She struggled to recall the events of that evening. She had been intoxicated, which was why parts of her memory were unclear.
• Her eyes searched for the man named Andrei. Bree swallowed hard when their eyes met—he was staring at her with a playful smirk on his lips. It was as if he knew something she didn’t. This only made Bree more uneasy. She was certain that this man knew something.
• It seemed like he was either refusing to speak or someone was stopping him from doing so. Her eyes flew to where the CEO was sitting.
