• "Earthquake?" she asked, startled. Her eyes widened in panic. But as she tried to get up, intending to save herself, she felt her body being held by something hard but warm. Yes, Nathan's arms were wrapped around her tightly, almost crushing her. His body heat penetrated the thin clothes Haisley was wearing.
