• I stop in front of the door next to ours and I take a deep breath before I swing open the door. Daniel steps inside and for a moment he says absolutely nothing, “Aspen.” He whispers and as he turns around I can see the question in his eyes, I grab his hand to place it on my belly.
• “We are going to have a Pup.” I say as I look into his eyes with a huge smile on my face. I see total panic in his eyes and for a moment I am worried that he is not happy, but then he asks how I feel and if I am okay. “We didn’t hurt you, did we?” He asks and I immediately understand what he is talking about.
