Chapter 3 "Las Vagas

• Kitty got into a taxi which drove her to the headquarters of the company where her mother's friend George works. She raised her head up and read the big sign on the front of the building that read "Kyriax International Holdings Group."
• Kitty was horrified to see that great edifice in front of her, she almost backed away from the place but there was a voice inside her telling her that she had to do it, she must be strong for her and for her baby in her womb.
• With steady steps towards the company, she took out George's card for the sake of two security guards who asked who she was and why she had come to the company headquarters here.
• The security procedures that Kitty went through was strict and difficult until she was able to reach George's office, who drew on his face a wide smile when he found her entering his office, he straightened up from his seat and then walked towards her until he reached her, gave her a welcome hug, then moved away from her while telling her in a funny tone :
• - Welcome Kitty to our company , when you arrived ?!!? and why didn't you tell me !!!!?? , I would have facilitated many of the strict security measures that I know very well about entering the company !!!! .
• With a smile on her face, Kitty answered George's anxious question in a friendly tone :
• - Thank you for your offer, George, the procedures were really tiring, but I was able to see the company's headquarters from the inside, it's very amazing, George!
• George smiled at Kitty's enthusiasm and made her talk in that enthusiastic way , he told her in a cheerful tone, saying :
• - This is just the beginning Kitty, there are more wonderful things here in the place, you will know everything when you join us in the place!
• Kitty replied to that friendly George's talk, saying :
• - I'm looking forward to work with you at this wonderful place, George !.
• George nodded in agreement with Kitty's words, then told her in a calm tone :
• - let's meet the boss here now , Kitty, I recommended you to work here in the company, so he wants to see you first, you can also thank him for accepting your appointment to the company!
• George told her those words which made her smile very sweetly .
• He peered out of the window toward the famous Square Boulevard which was overlooking his company headquarters in New York. It's been about five months since he was here , he's been in Greece all that time, a sigh of relief came out of his mouth when he remembered that the reason of that was his father's angina which made him suffering for five months , but thank God his father finally get recovered and he was able to let him go back for home , enjoying a good recovery while continuing work in the company here.
• Lucas closed his eyes tightly, a memory of a girl with blue eyes came to his mind, luscious lips and a more delicious body, making his body tremble strongly from those scenes which he remembered as a beautiful dream, he really tried to reach her but she left no trace of her that he could track , making him wonder every day where she is and What she is doing now?! Does she remember him or not?!
• A knock on Lucas' office door made him finish his thoughts about the pretty girl, then turn his body to face the door, he said out loud :
• - come on
• The accounting manager George entered , and with him the girl he had asked for a job in the company, after a few seconds , Lucas cheered loudly :
• - Is that really you?!
• His question came a few seconds late because the girl must have recognized him, as her body was now reeling in front of him and it seemed as if he was about to lose consciousness, something else there shocked him, he was focusing on the features of her face, but when his eyes fell on her swollen stomach, he felt that the earth was moving around him, to repeat in a low voice
• "This can't be real! You're pregnant, my God!"
• It was as if a thunderbolt had landed over Lucas's head, who was watching with all his being the girl he had made love with a few months ago, standing in front of him with a swollen belly and on her face signs as if she was about to die.
• - Do you know Mr. Lucas , kitty?!
• Her name is Kitty, that's what Lucas' mind has recorded and translated as he looks at her, he comes close to her and holds her body tightly, fearing that she will fall to the ground while she is dizzy in that horrible way, he tells her while taking her body in his hands in a calm tone :
• - Here, I finally found you Kitty! I thought it was a dream when I didn't find a trace of you after you left!
• He told her those words while looking at her beautiful eyes, placing his hand on her cheek, groping her with the back of his hand, softly and warmly, to make her close her eyes and feel that she had returned to her homeland again, that embrace in which she slept in its warmth once and after that she felt the frost.
• \"Come on Kitty, stop acting as a sane and strict girl even once in your life!! That trip will definitely not be compensated! Consider it a one-day adventure, then you can go back to that cold girl again!!\"
• Amid that insistence by Jesse, her best friend, Kitty did not find it clear to go with her college colleagues as they wanted to celebrate their graduation party in the most enjoyable place ever، They want to go to Vegas!
• Kitty will not deny that this idea flirted with her mind much before telling her friend her rejection of that adventure, but Jesse was not convinced of her refusal, but rather began to insist on her until she finally agreed، She said with a firm voice:
• - Well, well I will, but first I have to call Mum in order to tell her about that trip!
• Jesse looked at her friend with little trick, Kitty has always been a non-social girl who does not like the fun as she does! She even asked many times how they became friends, she blew loudly while telling her, telling her a sarcastic tone:
• - It's okay, do it, you depository cat! I don't understand how a girl your age is still telling her mother where she is going! Isn't this ridiculous؟!
• Those words Kitty used to hear from her friend, so she got used to her, so she didn't feel bad about her, she just smiled at her with entertainment and then extended her hand towards her shoulder bag، She wants to take her cellphone out of her and then call her mother to tell her what she intends to do.
• While she was listening to the phone waiting ringing, she was thinking about Jesse's words, she knew that being still living with her mother and also telling her about her movements was surprising in those days.
• But Kitty simply cannot ignore the role her mother played in her life, how can she do that and she has sacrificed for her so much that she reaches where she is now، Especially after her father left them.
• Her mother's voice reached her, she drew a warm, friendly smile on her face, and then said in a cheerful tone:
• Hello, Mam, you know today is my graduation party؟!
• Lisa listened to her daughter's playful words, raised her eyebrow with wonder and confusion, then asked, saying, in a surprising tone:
• - Well, what's the matter if Kitty؟! Is there anything you want to tell me؟!
• Kitty knew that her mother would understand from her talk that there was something she hesitated to tell her! So in a calm and cheerful voice she said:
• - There is a trip that young people would like to go to, Jesse insists on going with them and enjoying there! Do you agree!
• A loving and warm feature painted on Lisa's face, who understood her daughter's need to enjoy her special day where her graduation party did not want to make her hesitate or wait more, so she told her in a fun tone saying:
• - Well, what are you waiting for, girl! Go immediately! You don't have to play the obedient girl now, I command you to enjoy today so much, never think about me, even I have some wild days when I was young like you!
• High laughs came out of Lisa's mouth that Kitty shared, she wanted to tell her about her destination, but her mother stopped her when she said in a fun tone:
• - The place does not matter, the important thing is that you will have a happy and fun day!!
