• It had been a week since my public apology to Victor Adams. As part of the company’s effort to ‘clear the air,’ I was temporarily suspended from my duties. With nothing much to do, aside from scrolling mindlessly on social media and watching reels, I decided it was high time I paid my best friend a visit at her father’s company.
• Lexi had very little free time for girls hangout and social activities, she was a typical busy woman. She was in every way the opposite of me. While I had recently been involved in scandal, Lexi was a paragon of success. She consistently secured major deals for her company, had received numerous awards at buisness conferences, and had maintained a spotless reputation over the years.
