• My heart soars with the knowledge that both Gideon and Axel will be joining us soon. I hadn’t realized how much I had missed them both in such a short time. Evander and I have had months here together, but he warns me that time moves differently between the realms. Fae live so much longer than humans, that it is no bother for us to live in Faerie at a speed that seems twice as fast as Earth. If anything, it gives us an advantage. When it takes your children 50 years to reach maturity, it wouldn’t hurt if that time could be cut in half by human standards. And when you are near immortal, time starts to mean nothing anyway.
