• She keeps running without looking back. Her feet are going numb, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to escape. This hurt—his words hurt. She remembers Kat, how jealous she felt with her around. She knows, she wasn’t faithful, but Aryan wasn’t either. Both made mistakes, and both made decisions that kept them apart.
• She is angry at him—he never prayed to her, she would know if he did. A part of her is happy that he got to find happiness, a chance for a beautiful life. But another part of hers is seething with regret and enviousness.
