• Her words reverberated in my mind as I thought of it. Could she be telling the truth if she was just trying to get to me? I thought. I became confused and decided to shrug off the thoughts from my mind, but it kept replaying in my head like a recorded audio. I heaved a sigh of frustration as I could no longer think straight. My indoor date had been ruined completely by her and her words. She stood there quietly, not saying anything as she observed my body movements before chuckling. I could not bear it any longer and I talked.
• “I know you are just trying to get to me, and it wouldn't work. You have to try harder than this.” I said in a sharp tone, and she burst into laughter, holding her ribs while she laughed. Her laughter got me more infuriated, and I felt like pouncing on her.
