Chapter 28 It's Peaceful

• I stepped out of the shower, feeling refreshed, and made my way to Ezekiel's room. As I stood at his door, I hesitated for a brief moment, but then I pushed my hesitation aside and knocked.
• "Isabella!" His voice sounded from the other side, followed by a slight smile when he opened the door. Seeing him made my heart flutter. I pushed the door wider and saw him, fresh from the shower. His damp hair clung to his forehead, droplets still glistening on his skin.
• He was only wearing loose trousers, and I couldn’t help but admire how d*mn hot he looked. My eyes lingered, and I tilted my head playfully.
