- All of a sudden, a loud noise echoed from upstairs, causing Eileen to glance upward in concern. Reacting quickly, she slipped on her slippers and hurriedly ascended the stairs, fearing that something might have happened to Eric.
- Apprehensively, Eileen pushed open the door to the room where the noise came from, and anxiously asked, "Eric, are you alright?"
