• I had decided to patiently wait and watch Benita's attitude. If there was any truth in what Laura had said yesterday, I would notice it and maybe even have a talk about it with her.
• She had woken up early than I did and when I got, the house chores were done and off the grid, though not exactly in a perfect and very neat order. I was more than shocked, as a mother, I had always found it difficult to call her and ask for help with the chores because she always seemed too busy with school work and I did not want her getting distracted but she had willingly picked up the tools and did all the work.
