Chapter 7 A Good Decision
- In the evening, after Ruona finished her shift, she left the company in company with Anya Song.
- They parted at the door and before leaving, Anya Song looked at her with some worry and asked, “Ruona, do you want to stay at my place for a few days before going home?”
- She really didn’t trust Ruona to go back, she and Nesa Gu lived under the same roof, the two of them raised their heads and saw each other, with that b!tch Nesa Gu’s character, she might think of some way to deal with Ruona again.
- Ruona could see at a glance what her friend was worried about, and her heart couldn’t help but feel a little more touched.
- “Anya, thank you for your kindness, but I can handle it.”
- A Nesa Gu was just a Gu, she, Ruona, wasn’t afraid of her yet.
- Moreover, she had promised Ethan Lu that she would move in with him, so it was time to go back and make preparations.
- “But,”
- Anya Song still wanted to say something, but when she saw Ruona’s resolute face, she had to sigh, “Alright, since you’ve already made up your mind, I won’t force you. But you have to promise me that if anything happens, remember to call me in time, okay?”
- “Know.”
- “I’m off then, you be careful on the road.”
- “Well, you too.”
- Saying goodbye to Anya Song, Ruona didn’t stop much and turned around, going back.
- As a result, just a few steps away, a distinguished and luxurious top-of-the-line Maybach, suddenly drove over from behind and parked on her side.
- The car door opened, and I saw Leo walk down from the driver’s seat, and said to Ruona with a respectful face, “Madam, the president invites you to get into the car.”
- Ruona was startled and followed the direction that Leo pointed at.
- Only saw Ethan Lu elegantly leaning on the back seat of the car, dark eyes through the car window faintly fell on her, the look looked a little lazy and casual.
- Ruona nodded and got into the car nicely, then sat beside Ethan Lu, her eyes slightly confused: “Hasn’t Mr. Lu already left?”
- An hour ago, he’d come and gone as quickly as he’d parachuted into Shiori.
- She’d thought he’d left long ago, never thought he’d show up again.
- “No, waiting for you.”
- Ethan Lu glanced at her lightly, listening to his tone, he seemed to have been waiting for her for a long time.
- Ruona couldn’t help but feel surprised.
- How dare the grand president of Lu actually condescended to wait for her personally?
- “Uh what can I do for you?” Ruona hurriedly asked a question.
- “It’s nothing, just wanted to ask Madam if she has any thoughts about the wedding night for her first marriage.”
- Ethan Lu’s tone was very calm, just like an ordinary inquiry, but the words were not surprising.
- Ruona was so shocked that she directly choked and coughed, “Sh what thoughts? I I don’t have any idea what’s going on, why are you suddenly asking this question?”
- They were united only because each of them needed something. He needed marriage to cope with his family, and she happened to want to find someone to marry.
- There was no emotional ties between the two of them, more of a hitchhiker’s mentality of living life together. So, naturally, Ruona wouldn’t have any thoughts about the wedding night, and she didn’t think that Ethan Lu would have any thoughts either.
- At least, that’s what she thought before this!
- “It’s not easy to get married once, the wedding night, I feel that we shouldn’t leave any regrets.”
- Ethan Lu gave her a faint glance, and his calm, languid eyes swept over a touch of playfulness.
- “Then what do you mean?”
- Ruona looked at him in disbelief.
- Although she promised him that she would be a good wife, but it does not include the fulfillment of the conjugal sex obligations of this aspect, he should not be misunderstood something, right?
- “What do you think?”
- Ethan Lu looked like he was smiling, a pair of dark eyes, piercing like candlelight.
- Ruona’s heart leakage jumped a beat, and couldn’t help but panic: “I how would I know? Rather, Mr. Lu, it’s unexpected that you would be interested in the wedding night.”
- Ethan Lu shrugged his shoulders, his thin l!ps slightly hooked, calmly, “Exploring new things is my interest, although you and I are only formally married, I still don’t want the wedding night to be too perfunctory at the very least, a celebratory dinner is necessary.”
- “Ahem-“
- Ruona suddenly choked on her saliva and coughed, “When you say you have no regrets, do you mean this matter of eating dinner?”
- “Of course! Isn’t that what Madame meant? Or do you prefer the way that a night of spring is worth a thousand dollars.”
- Ethan Lu stared at her, his dark deep eyes, full of urgency.
- Brushing her cheeks, Ruona’s cheeks instantly burned red as if they were lit by a torch the moment the man’s words fell.
- She looked embarrassed, wishing that there could be an extra hole in the ground for her to drill.
- What a shame!
- From the beginning to the end, Ethan Lu had no intention of asking her to fulfill any conjugal obligations, he was simply asking her if she had any thoughts about the wedding night.
- As a result, she was the one who would be mistaken, making up half a day’s worth of nonsense there.
- But she never thought that even if Ethan Lu really had any thoughts about her, by virtue of their legally licensed relationship, she didn’t have the right to refuse at all.
