• The man stepped in to defend Willow. “Why are you being so inflexible?” he asked. “What if someone accidentally left their prescription book behind? Then they wouldn't be able to get their medication, would they? They'd have to go all the way back, re-register, and ask the doctor to write another one. That's just wasting the doctor's time, isn't it?”
• This middle-aged man thought that Willow seemed kind and soft-spoken. He assumed the young nurse was being unreasonable and intentionally giving her a hard time, so he decided to speak up for her.
