• Alex Pov's
• I kept staring at Sana who went to sleep again.
• "Maya is dying. She is calling me. I can feel that she's in pain" Dominic panicked and started growling in my mind
• "We have to wait for tomorrow, full moon night until then we can't do anything. Dominic. even Maya's health affects Sana. Don't know how she will react when we mark her"
• "Maya would be happy"
• "But Sana's happiness is as important as Maya's," I pointed out.
• "ya but her temporary happiness is not more important than Maya's life. I'm sure even she will also not have a problem if we mark her for Maya's life" He said. I nodded and stood up from the bed.
• "you're leaving her again," Dominic frowned.
• "I'm bringing something healthy for her to eat. she turns fragile, she needs good food"
• "Ohh but why don't you ask someone else for this" I again sat on the bed as I know there is no benefit to arguing with Dominic as he will not let me leave Sana even for a second. He wants to be with her all the time.
• My eyes went to Sana's lips. That's when I remember the incident last night when Dominic took control of my body and kissed her lips. Well, I'm not at all complaining because I even want to feel those lips for so long. She is so soft like a rose petal and tastes like a delicious sweet whose taste I didn't want to forget in my whole life. I just want to taste this sweet again and again.
• 'Then go on.. who has stopped you?' Dominic teased me.
• 'Shut up I growled. I know he didn't like it when someone talked to him like that but he should also understand that his words were forcing me to do something which I will regret later. no... I will not regret kissing her but I will regret kissing her when she's not conscious. I want her to respond to my kiss as she did with Dominic. I want her will when I kiss her. I want her to moan for me when I put my tongue in her mouth. I gulped while staring at her lips and my junior showed his presence with just a sight of her.
• "What is she doing to me? I need a shower" I thought and took out my clothes from the wardrobe and went to the washroom. I had seen many girls and screwed them but I never felt like this for anyone the way I felt for her. she will make me fall on my knees in her love and I willingly do that. She's something that anyone can die for. a smile came to my face. That's when I realised I hadn't seen her smiling since I saw her. she didn't even smile for once and this thing hit me hard. I came out after taking a long shower. my eyes went on her, and she glared at me angrily.
• "Are you mad at me?" I ask not knowing what I did which made her angry. She didn't reply and turned her face to the other side. I went towards her and kneel in front of her. She widened her eyes and stood up.
• "what are you doing?"
• "pampering my queen who is mad at me," I said. She was looking at me astonishingly. I made her sit on the bed.
• "What happened?" I asked.
• "You kneel in front of me just because I'm mad at you," she asked, still in shock like I did a huge thing...
• "This is nothing, Sana. I can die for you" I mumbled. she turned her face towards the other side... I hold her chin and made her look at me
• "you didn't reply why you're angry at me?".
• "I was mad at you because when I opened my eyes you were not here and I thought you again left me alone but I'm not angry now," she said looking at the floor. I smiled and stood up. She abruptly looked at me.
• "I'm sending a dress for you with Maria, she will help you to freshen up," I said. She didn't reply and nodded. I kissed her forehead and left the room. As soon as I came out of my room, Max came to me and by looking at his face I can say that the news is not good.
• "What happened Max?" I asked.
• "the whole kingdom is against Sana. everyone accusing her as she was the wife of Richard and the worst part is everyone haunting for her outside to kill her"
• "But was it her fault that she was someone's wife?" I scoffed. he didn't reply and low down her head.
• "Don't tell me that even you hate her" I growled
• "I won't lie Alpha, when you saved her on the battlefield I was furious but then seeing her condition I understood why you did that but after Ella forecast also you helped her I didn't find it good. at first, she was Richard's wife and second, she is a danger for you, as a beta what do you expect from me" He said
• "Will you stop tagging her as Richard's wife? He died and now she has no connection with that bastard." I frowned.
• "I'm sorry Alpha but why are you so possessive of her?" he asked.
• "Because she's my mate damm it" I uttered. she looked at me, widening her eyes.
• "I don't know how she ended up marrying that bastard but I'm her mate and soon she will be your luna. so as you're my beta I expected you to respect her" I said. he nods and smiles
• "So finally you find your mate," he said.
• "that too in such a condition... you all are hating her just because she was someone's wife but no one.. no one is seeing her condition... you saw her now.. she screamed because of pain and sorrow. I'm not expecting to think good about her but at least don't think bad. she's already facing a lot" I said.
• "I'm sorry Alpha. I shouldn't say all those things for her"
• "you're not the only one.. leave all this. do my one work"
• "yes Alpha"
• "find out every detail of Sana and her life, from her birth to till now. How were her childhood and her married life? how Richard used to treat her. I want to know every detail.. got it"
• "Yes, Alpha," he nodded and left from there. I sighed and sat in the hall thinking about the words of Max.
• 'If everyone hates her outside then we have to protect her from evil eyes.' Dominic mumbled in my mind.
• 'don't worry, my people love me more than they hate Richard or his wife and when I marked Sana, in the end, they all will love her
• 'yaa and we know Sana is such a kind-hearted person that in the end, everyone will fall in love with her, ' he said. I nod with a smile. That's when my eyes went to the door and seeing a girl standing at the door, my smile faded away.
• "Irene"
• 'One trouble doesn't end, second trouble is ready at the door' I thought.
• We have to keep her away from Sana as much as possible.' I agreed with Dominic and gulped, thinking about what will happen when Irene and Sana come in front of each other.
• She came toward me and hugged me.
• "I thought after seeing me you will have a smile on your face but it seems like you're hating the fact that I'm back."
• "It's nothing like that," I said
• "Are you hiding something from me?" she raised her eyebrow.
• "Why would I hide anything from you? it's just I didn't expect you to come this soon"
• "Why so? you send me away because you are going to attack Richard's pack and now when everything is fine then why would I not come back" she scoffed.
• "Well, Now you have come, then do one thing for me, go and check the security of the pack."
• "I just came here," She said.
• "so?"
• "You should ask me to freshen up or should ask me how I was but on the contrary, you are telling me to check the security of the pack. seriously Alex"
• "You also have responsibilities towards the pack and if I have given you a little work then what is wrong with it?"
• "Whenever I think that our relationship will be like before, you always prove me wrong" her eyes brimmed with tears.
• "you're overreacting, Irene"
• "It's better to do the work instead of arguing with you," she said sarcastically and went outside the villa. I took a deep breath which I don't know since when I'm holding it. thanks to the moon goddess her wolf didn't smell Sana. Otherwise, I don't know how she will react after seeing her in my room.
• 'you called me a jerk, what about your behaviour towards Irene' Dominic mocked
• 'I don't want to talk to her like this but I had no option. If she had seen Sana in our room, she might have killed her.'
• 'no one can harm her.. no one' My wolf growled in my mind.
• 'relax, that's why I talk to Irene like that and sent her to check the security
• 'We have to shift Sana to another place before Irene sees her' Dominic suggested.
• 'yaa you're right. that will be better
• I was about to mindlink Max to keep busy with Irene until I shift Sana to another place. That's when I heard a blood-curdling scream and I know very well whose scream it belongs to.
• "Mate... Mate is in pain" Dominic panicked in my mind. my heart beat rose with her scream, I immediately rushed towards my room.
