Chapter 26

• Tonight, I saw a different part of Carson. Not the boy who would start fights with other boys in school, not the boy who is always getting in trouble and not the underground fighter, but a boy who has problems with his father at home and who is frustrated because of it.
• On Sunday afternoon, I was ready to go to the concert where Kevin was going to perform, but I was in my room pacing the floor. Allan was in the living room at this current moment. I heard bottles clanging together, so I knew he was drinking. That means he will be down there for a long time, until he's knocked out.
• I looked at my watch once again. It was 2:20pm. Kevin's concert started at 3:00pm and if I didn't leave soon, I will not be able to make it. I didn't want to call Kevin and tell him I couldn't make it. I know that he would be really disappointed.
